Panama City Beach and the surrounding areas of Bay County area located in Northwest Florida, affectionately known as “The Florida Panhandle” and “Florida’s Great Northwest.”
Bay County, with its 27 miles of white sandy beaches, offers lots of opportunities to explore, snorkel, fish, boat and dive. There are many golf courses throughout the county, as well as marinas for a sunset stroll and watching the catch come in.
In addition to The City of Panama City Beach, there are six other municipalities that make up Bay County: Panama City, Callaway, Lynn Haven, Mexico Beach, Parker and Springfield—all making Bay County a Great Place to Live, Work and Play! Visit The Bay County Chamber of Commerce, The Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and The Beaches Chamber of Commerce to learn more about Bay County and its cities.
For information on area schools, visit Bay County School System. There are many cultural organizations throughout the County, visit The Bay Arts Alliance and The Science and Discovery Center to learn about those cultural opportunities.
